Blacksmiths

Key tasks:

Your job will involve shaping and joining heated metal in order to create products. You will be using a forge, hammering, and power tools. Job can include some physical work in hot and noisy environments. 

Your key responsibilities & duties will include:

• Forge and shape metal using tools such as hammers, anvils, and tongs

• Heat metal in a forge until it is malleable

• Design and create custom metalwork pieces

• Repair and maintain metal objects and equipment

• Cut and drill metal pieces to the required specifications

• Weld and solder metal parts together

• Operate machinery such as power hammers, hammers and punches, or power tools like drills, presses and hydraulic presses

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Ensure safety standards are met in the workshop

Skills:

• Securing pipes to the ship and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.

• Attach one pipe to another in order to lengthen the run or change the flow direction in a plumbing system. 

• Assembles and installs a variety of metal or nonmetal pipes and pipe fittings, using threaded caulked, soldering, brazen, fused, or cemented joints, and hand tools.

• Performs other duties as required.

• Align and secure structural parts to ensure a proper fit

• Cut, shape, and prepare metal components for assembly

• Perform welding, bolting, and riveting tasks as required

• Locates and marks reference lines; such as center, buttock, and frame lines

• Positions parts in hull of a Ship, assisted by rigger

• Aligns parts relation to each other using jacks, lever blocks, chain blocks, clips, wedges, etc.

• Marks location of holes to be drilled and installs temporary fasteners to hold parts in a place for welding or revising

• Install packing, gasket, liner, and structural accessories and members such as doors, hatches, brackets, and clips

• Tack and weld clips and brackets in place prior to permanent welding

• May prepare molds and templates for fabrication of non-standard parts

• May roll, bend flange, cut and shape plates, beams, and other heavy metal parts using shop machinery; such as plate roll, presses, bending  brakes, and joggle machine

Dine arbejdsopgaver

Som socialrådgiver bliver du kontaktperson for en række borgere og får en central rolle i deres ophold på krisecenteret. Dine opgaver vil blandt andet omfatte:

• Åben rådgivning til borgere, som endnu ikke er indskrevet.

• Visitation og vurdering af indskrivningsgrundlag.

• Udarbejdelse af risikovurderinger og sikkerhedsplaner.

• Ugentlige støttende samtaler med beboerne.

• Myndighedssamarbejde og koordinering på tværs af kommuner, politi, sundhedsvæsen og øvrige samarbejdspartnere.

• Udarbejdelse af handleplaner og relevant dokumentation.

• Dokumentation og journalføring i overensstemmelse med gældende lovgivning.

Vi forventer, at du

• Er uddannet socialrådgiver

• Har erfaring fra det socialfaglige område, gerne med vold, krise, udsatte borgere eller myndighedsarbejde.
