About the Role
As a Pricing Analyst, you will share responsibility for developing, implementing, and optimizing Royal Design Group’s pricing strategy across categories and markets. You will act as a trusted business partner to management, category teams, and buyers, working closely with the Category Managers to ensure the optimal balance between pricing, margins, assortment, and promotional activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Analyzing, monitoring, and optimizing product prices across all markets
• Developing and maintaining dynamic pricing models
• Working closely with Category Managers on category insights, price elasticity, and commercial performance
• Supporting Category Managers with promotional planning, ensuring competitive product and campaign pricing aligned with category objectives
• Monitoring competitor pricing and continuously analyzing market dynamics
• Conducting A/B tests and pricing experiments to measure impact on sales and conversion
• Preparing commercial reports and decision-making material for management and category stakeholders
• Ensuring accurate pricing data and robust data processes across all systems and channels
• Supporting compliance by ensuring all pricing activities adhere to applicable regulations and guidelines
You will become part of the Assortment & Buying team and report directly to Sander Gjøls-Andersen, Chief Purchasing Officer (CPO) at Royal Design Group. The position can be based either in Copenhagen or Gothenburg, where the company’s headquarters are located.
Your Profile
You have a strong analytical mindset and thrive at the intersection of data, strategy, and commercial decision-making. You hold a relevant academic degree and it is a plus if you have experience within pricing or business analytics. Ideally, you have 0–2 years of experience from a similar role within e-commerce or retail.
You are comfortable working with large datasets, complex analyses, and performance tracking, and you are able to communicate your recommendations clearly to both colleagues and senior stakeholders. You have a strong commercial mindset, understand margins and price elasticity, and enjoy collaborating across functions.
As a person, you are:
• Data-driven with strong analytical skills
• Commercially minded with a solid understanding of both growth and profitability
• Proactive, self-driven, and quality-oriented
• A strong relationship builder who collaborates effectively across functions
• Structured, systematic, and detail-oriented
• Able to communicate complex insights in a clear and understandable way
• Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in one of the Nordic languages is considered an advantage.
