Clinical functions and focus areas of the department

The department is dedicated to the comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of a wide spectrum of neurological disorders, with expertise in stroke, Parkinson’s disease, neuromuscular conditions, Tourette’s Syndrome, and various headache disorders. Our clinical services span both acute and outpatient care, supported by a specialized stroke unit, a dedicated movement disorders clinic, and advanced headache treatment programs. We maintain a strong interdisciplinary approach that brings together neurologists, nurses, therapists, and researchers to provide cohesive, patient-centred care. This collaboration is deeply integrated with ongoing research activities, ensuring that our clinical practice is continuously informed by the latest scientific evidence. Our work bridges the gap between hospital-based services and community care, aiming to promote long-term health outcomes and high-quality, accessible neurological care.

Research and teaching

With this new position the Department of Neurology, Copenhagen University Hospital – Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg wishes to strengthen the leadership in clinical research and teaching in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen.

Qualifications

Applicants must be board-certified specialist in Neurology.

Conditions

In order to be considered, the applicant must send an application to both the Faculty (the professorship) and to the hospital (the consultancy) cf. the simultaneously advertised position of the professorship. Appointment is conditioned by the fact that the applicant obtains both positions. This also applies to the applicants who are already employed as consultants at Copenhagen University Hospital – Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg.

Salary and conditions of employment as consultant are as agreed between the Danish Regions and the Danish Association of Medical Specialists and between the Capital Region/Region Zealand and University of Copenhagen.

As clinical professor at least 50 % of the working time will be allocated to academic tasks (e.g., research, teaching, evaluation tasks and communication with the public) in agreement with the Head of Department of Department of Clinical Medicine at the University of Copenhagen. The remaining time will be allocated for clinical work in agreement with the head of Neurology. Additional support and details on the working conditions must be negotiated with the head of the department of Neurology, Copenhagen University Hospital – Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg.

Center for Visitation og Diagnostik (CVD) søger overlæge.


Om CVD
CVD er en administrativ og klinisk enhed, der modtager alle elektive henvisninger til psykiatrisk hospitalsbehandling i Region Hovedstaden. CVD’s vigtigste opgave er at tilbyde kvalificeret og ensartet udredning samt at sikre lige adgang til behandling og den bedst mulige kapacitetsudnyttelse af de psykiatriske centres forskellige behandlingstilbud.

Patienter, der henvises til CVD, skal have tilbudt det rette behandlingsforløb i hovedfunktion eller specialfunktioner. Mange patienter visiteres på baggrund af henvisning, mens andre indkaldes til en eller flere afklarende samtaler. CVD er bemandet med speciallæger, specialpsykologer, specialsygeplejersker i både voksen-, børne- og ungdomspsykiatri og sekretærer.
Samlet er vi 24 medarbejdere, hvoraf 3 varetager børne- og ungdomspsykiatrisk visitation.

I forbindelse med psykiatrisk og somatisk samorganisering er CVD blevet organiseret under Bispebjerg og Frederiksberg Hospital, men forestår fortsat centraliseret visitation alle psykiatriske centre i Region Hovedstaden.
Det er aktuelt ikke afklaret, hvordan psykiatrisk visitation skal organiseres i forbindelse med dannelsen af Region Øst.


Som overlæge i CVD vil du

  • Varetage administrative visitationer
  • Varetage kliniske visitationer, typisk 2. samtaler ved komplekse udredninger
  • Deltage i den systematiske daglige supervision af sygeplejefaglige kolleger
  • Besvare korrespondancer fra centre og primær sektor
  • Undervise kolleger
  • Bidrage med din viden, dine kompetencer og dine ideer til CVD´s fortsatte faglige udvikling

Afsnit C1:
Afsnittet er et intensivt sengeafsnit med plads til 16 patienter. Afsnittet har både en dygtig og erfaren oversygeplejerske og et dedikeret og dygtigt team af personale, der alle er med til at løfte den meningsfulde og komplekse opgave at skabe relation til og behandle mennesker med svær psykisk sygdom. Afsnittet behandler både mennesker med psykose, affektive sindslidelser og har en del erfaring med at behandle mennesker med autisme, der er blevet syge af de belastninger, de udsættes for i livet.
Afsnittet arbejder med nedbringelse af tvang og formår at skabe gode relationer og en god kontakt til indlagte patienter, der er med til at reducere anvendelsen af tvang. Der er et godt tværfagligt team og samarbejdet med både de tværfaglige medarbejdere, den ambulante psykiatri og eksterne aktører fungerer godt.


Din rolle som afsnitsledende overlæge
Som afsnitsledende overlæge udfører du klinisk arbejde på højt niveau. Du varetager den indledende vurdering og diagnostik, fungerer som tovholder gennem hele behandlingsforløbet og sikrer optimal medicinsk behandling samt tværfaglig koordinering.

Du har et tæt samarbejde med afsnittets oversygeplejerske, personalet og det tværfaglige team.

Der vil være mulighed for at bruge dine kompetencer inden for undervisning og være en del af det team, der underviser personale og lægefaglige kolleger.

Vi forventer, at du kan skabe overblik over behandlingen af afsnittets patienter og at du vil være med til at nedbringe tvang i psykiatrien.

Du er speciallæge i psykiatri og har erfaring med ledelse.


Lægegruppen på Psykiatrisk Center København
På Psykiatrisk Center København har vi et godt lægefagligt team med både fastansatte overlæger og speciallæger og en stor og dygtig gruppe af yngre læger.
Vi arbejder for et godt arbejdsmiljø og har oparbejdet en kultur for at hjælpe hinanden på tværs af de forskellige afsnit og funktioner. Vores konferencer fungerer godt med en god stemning, hvor alle tør sige noget og et godt læringsmiljø og vi afholder undervisning hver dag.

CAMES is internationally recognised as one of the world's leading centres for simulation-based education and research, with state-of-the-art facilities, a sustained record of high impact peer-reviewed publications, and an extensive portfolio of evidence-based training programmes for health professionals across disciplines and career stages. CAMES collaborates closely with hospitals and primary-care services in the Capital Region of Denmark, and with universities, professional bodies and industry partners both in Denmark and internationally. As a Senior Researcher, you will work at CAMES Rigshospitalet and across partner sites in the Capital Region.

Your job responsibilities

As a Senior Researcher, you will have joint responsibility for the development of CAMES' research environment, and you will contribute to the implementation of the overall research strategy. Through your collaborative skills and broad international academic network, you will advance the academic development of CAMES and its national and international profile. You will lead impactful research at the interface between simulation and workplace learning and study their impact on clinical practice and outcomes through the lens of conversational learning, team performance, and interprofessional collaborative practice.

Your main tasks consist of:

  • Conducting research in key domains
    • The social and conversational dynamics of simulation-based and workplace-based learning — including (a) how feedback, debriefing and coaching conversations support individual and team development across the continuum from undergraduate education to clinical practice; (b) how team processes (such as team reflexivity, team adaptation, and collaborative micro-practices) promote team performance and learning, and staff well-being in diverse clinical settings;
    • The integration of simulation-based education within authentic workplace learning and education, so that learning gains through simulation translate into adaptive expertise and improved performance in clinical teams for the benefit of improved patient outcomes.
  • Extending capacity for methodologic diversity within CAMES, particularly qualitative, educational design and mixed-methods research, to complement CAMES's established quantitative and assessment-oriented traditions.
  • Publishing high impact publications based on your work in collaboration with local, national and international partners
  • Building and leading a research group at CAMES focused on your research domains, including the mentoring and supervision of postdoctoral fellows and early-career researchers
  • Supervising PhD students with specific contributions to qualitative, educational design and mixed-methods research training.
  • Contributing to the funding of your own research group with the help of competitive external research funding
  • Collaborating with private and public-sector research stakeholders, including hospitals, primary-care services and professional bodies in the Capital Region, as well as research-based consultancy
  • Disseminating your research to the outside world, including through senior editorial responsibilities, invited keynotes and contributions to international consensus and standards work
  • Contributing to the development of the research and education environment at CAMES and across the Capital Region of Denmark
Your competences

  • You have an outstanding international track record in health professions and medical education research, and you have established yourself as a prominent scholar in the field.
  • You hold a primary medical or other health-professional qualification in a specialised field together with a research doctorate (PhD) in health professions education or a closely related discipline, and you possess solid research and teaching qualifications at a high international level.
  • You bring a sustained, programmatic body of work, for example: debriefing and feedback; team processes as a driver of performance and learning; and synergies between simulation-based education and workplace-based learning. Your work has shaped contemporary practice and demonstrably influenced the field internationally.
  • You bring methodological depth and breadth, with documented expertise in qualitative, educational design and/or mixed-methods research as a complement to quantitative paradigms, and the ability to build methodological capacity in others.
  • You have broad international research partnerships, including with leading institutions in Europe, North America, and beyond, and substantial experience of research collaboration with private and public-sector stakeholders, including health services, professional bodies and patient and public partners.
  • You have a documented ability to attract significant competitive research funding from national and international funding bodies, both as principal investigator and as a senior partner on multi-institutional consortia.
  • You have a proven track record of translating your research into educational practice through your faculty development initiatives and into improvements in clinical learning, team performance and patient care.

Vi søger en afdelings- eller overlæge på Fertilitetsklinikken, Afd. for Gynækologi, Fertilitet og Fødsler på Rigshospitalet. Stillingen er ledig til besættelse pr. 1. december 2026 eller snarest derefter. Er du interesseret i fertilitetsbehandling og vil du være med til at forme fertilitetsklinikken på Rigshospitalet til den nye struktur med behandling til barn nr. 2, så er stillingen lige dig.

Rigshospitalets fertilitetsklinik er landets største offentlige klinik og tilbyder alle former for fertilitetsbehandling, herunder insemination og IVF/ICSI samt landsdelsfunktion for kvinder og mænd med HIV/Hepatitis. Vi arbejder i specialiserede teams for præimplantationsgenetisk diagnostik hos par med genetisk sygdom i samarbejde med Afdeling for Klinisk Genetik og for fertilitetsbevaring til kvinder, som har truet ovariefunktion af genetiske eller benigne årsager, eller forud for kemoterapi. I samarbejde med afdeling for Vækst og Reproduktion laver vi udredning af mandlig infertilitet inkl. TESA. Vi udfører også reproduktionskirurgi til patienter i fertilitetsbehandling og varetager udredning og behandling af kvinder og par med gentagne graviditetstab. Fertilitetsklinikken har også et tæt samarbejde med vores gynækologiske og obstetriske kollegaer.

Fertilitetsklinikken har 13 læger ansat og med ti PhD studerende og tre post doc er vi særdeles forsknings- og undervisningsaktive. Du får som læge mulighed for at medvirke i forskningsprojekter og publikationer samt selv at undervise. Stemningen på afdelingen er kendetegnet ved et stærkt sammenhold og tværfagligt samarbejde, en god tone og faglige diskussioner på et højt niveau. Efteruddannelse prioriteres højt, både ved faste læge- og tværfaglige konferencer og internationale kongresser.

Er du speciallæge i gyn/obs eller i dit H3 forløb, og vil du gerne stifte bekendtskab med fertilitetsbehandling, så er dette en unik mulighed for at få introduktion til subspecialet. Vi har oplæring og mentorordning for nye læger i subspecialet. Jobbet består af alle dele af udredning og behandling for infertilitet. Vi ønsker en kollega, som trives i tværfaglige teams og bidrager til sammenholdet på afdelingen. Erfaring indenfor fertilitetsbehandling og forskningsaktivitet er en fordel men ikke en forudsætning. Ansættelsen vil give mulighed for et subspecialiseringsforløb i Reproduktionsmedicin. Stillingen inkluderer dagvagt i Fertilitetsklinikken i forbindelse med weekend/helligdage - men ikke gynækologisk eller obstetrisk vagtfunktion.

Dine ansvarsområder

Som overlæge i Fængselskreds Øst bliver du daglig koordinator for lægegruppen. Du får ansvar for implementering af kvalitetsstandarder og sikring af den daglige drift i lægegruppen på Vestre fængsel samt effektiv onboarding af nye læger, hvor der pt. er 4 læger, som overvejende er yngre læger. Dit fokus vil være at skabe sammenhæng, struktur og kvalitet i det sundhedsfaglige arbejde samt understøtte et godt arbejdsmiljø med høj faglighed, trivsel og udvikling blandt lægerne. Funktionen vil også dække læger på områdets øvrige matrikler. Du vil have en faglig bagvagtsfunktion for fængselskredsens yngre læger.

Stillingen omfatter desuden patientkontakt og kliniske opgaver, der er sammenligneligt med arbejdet i almen praksis. I denne funktion vil du varetage almenmedicinske opgaver som konsultationer, vurdering og behandling af akutte og kroniske lidelser samt forebyggende helbredsindsatser. Du vil få en central rolle i at sikre et højt og ligeværdigt tilbud for vore patienter.

Løn- og ansættelsesvilkår

Stillingen som overlæge ønskes besat hurtigst muligt og besættes på individuel kontrakt med vilkår svarende til rammeaftalen om kontraktansættelse af chefer i staten, hvor stillingen lønmæssigt er indplaceret svarende til løngruppe 1 i rammeaftalen. Såfremt du i forvejen er ansat som tjenestemand, kan du bevare ansættelsen som tjenestemand. Der vil herudover blive aftalt kvalifikationstillæg afhængig af erfaring og kvalifikationer.

Ansættelsesområdet er kriminalforsorgen.

Arbejdsstedet er Vestre Fængsel, Vigerslevvej 1D, 2450 København SV. I ferier og ved sygdom kan der være behov for fremmøde på fængselskredsens øvrige matrikler.

Stillingen er med en arbejdstid på 37 timer om ugen, som vil være i dagstid. Der er ikke aften- eller weekendarbejde.

Om os

Sundhedsenheden i Fængselskreds Øst spænder vidt. Vi har klinikker på alle institutioner i Østdanmark, fra Helsingør Arrest til Storstrøm Fængsel over arresten på Bornholm. Nogle klinikker er bemandet med sygeplejersker, læger og andet sundhedspersonale dagligt, andre på ugentlig basis.

About the Department

The Department of Brain and Spinal Cord Injury is part of the Neuroscience Centre at Rigshospitalet and is located at the Bodil Eskesen Centre in Glostrup. The department provides highly specialized and regional neurorehabilitation services for patients from Eastern Denmark as well as Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

The department encompasses highly specialized and regional neurorehabilitation after traumatic and non-traumatic acquired brain injury, comprehensive rehabilitation and long-term follow-up of patients with spinal cord injury, and integrated interdisciplinary care pathways involving physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, neuropsychologists and social workers. Selected patient groups are followed in structured, lifelong outpatient programmes.

The department maintains close collaboration with neurointensive, neurological and neurosurgical units, as well as with municipalities and regional partners, ensuring continuity across acute treatment, rehabilitation and long-term management. Clinical care, research and education are closely integrated.

As part of its strategic development, the department has invested in digital health, welfare technology and robotics, including collaboration with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in relation to technology-supported rehabilitation models and data-driven clinical solutions.

Clinical functions and focus areas of the department

The consultant will work within and contribute to the continued development of neurorehabilitation services across both brain injury and spinal cord injury pathways.

The position includes responsibility for complex rehabilitation trajectories requiring advanced neurological expertise and interdisciplinary coordination. The consultant will contribute to strengthening clinical pathways from early neurocritical phases to long-term follow-up.

Close collaboration with neurointensive, neurological and neurosurgical services is essential, as is ongoing cooperation with municipalities and other healthcare sectors. The consultant will participate in referral processes, capacity planning and strategic development of rehabilitation services.

Supervision and bedside clinical teaching of medical students, residents and other physicians in training is an integrated part of the clinical function. The consultant will be expected to contribute to administrative and organizational tasks. Potential participation in on-call duties will be agreed upon at the time of employment

The consultant will report to the Head of Department and will be a member of the department’s management group.

Research and teaching

With this new position, the Department of Brain and Spinal Cord Injury wishes to strengthen clinical research and academic development in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen.

About the department

The Department provides neurophysiological services for all public hospitals and the primary medical sector in the Capital region of Copenhagen (population 1,8 mil). The Department is placed in 3 main locations, and smaller satellite units in the area, with a total staff of approximately 125 persons including 2 professors and 19 specialist doctors. The Department is further organized in 3 sections: EEG, EMG/EP and sleep medicine.

Clinical functions and focus areas of the department

The consultant will have the opportunity to work within or take responsibility for one (or more) of our clinical subspecialty areas, depending on specific research interests and on clinical experience. The consultant will be expected to contribute to the clinical and scientific development of clinical neurophysiology.

Research at an international level is performed in all areas of the Department. Main research areas are: nerve and muscle excitability, nerve regeneration, sleep disorders and EEG in coma and epilepsy surgery.

The Department wishes to further strengthen research at all levels including basic research areas such as pathophysiological mechanisms, signal analysis and input to software development performed by staff engineers. We wish to further develop and implement neurophysiological methods strategically aimed at meeting present and future needs of clinicians and patients in this field.



Supervision and teaching of medical students, residents and other physicians in training is an integrated part of the clinical function. The consultant will be expected to contribute to administrative and organizational tasks. The consultant will report to the head of department and will be a member of the management group in the department.

About the department

The Department of Neurology at Copenhagen University Hospital - Rigshospitalet serves patients with neurological diseases from the Copenhagen Area, and from other parts of Denmark, as well as the Faroe Islands and Greenland, at two sites: Rigshospitalet-Glostrup (Valdemar Hansens Vej) and Rigshospitalet-Blegdamsvej in Copenhagen.

The department has in- patient wards for critical care neurology, stroke (offering thrombolysis and endovascular treatment) and multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation (in collaboration with Department of Neurorehabilitation). We have specialized out-patient clinics for multiple sclerosis, headache, epilepsy, cerebrovascular disorders, dementia, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, and general neurology. Certified by the Danish Health Authority, we offer highly specialized treatments within most neurological subspecialties and have access to advanced neuroimaging, clinical neurophysiology, nuclear medicine, and clinical genetics.

The department is the home of several advanced clinical and translational research centers. We provide pre- and postgraduate teaching and training for medical doctors and other health care professionals.

Consultancy in Neurology combined with a clinical professorship (chair) in Neurology

A clinical position as consultant of neurology at the Department of Neurology at Copenhagen University Hospital – Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg is open for appointment from as soon as possible.

The position is combined with a 10-year position as clinical professor (chair) of Neurology at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

With this new position the Department of Neurology, Copenhagen University Hospital – Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg wishes to strengthen the leadership in clinical research and teaching in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen.

It is a requirement that the applicant is accepted for appointment of both the professorship and the consultancy.

About the department

The Department of Neurology at Bispebjerg Hospital is a dynamic clinical and academic environment providing high-quality neurological care to patients in the Capital Region of Denmark. The department has a strong collaboration with the University of Copenhagen and is home to recognized research units. We offer a stimulating setting for clinical excellence, research, and education.

Clinical functions and focus areas of the department

The department is dedicated to the comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of a wide spectrum of neurological disorders, with expertise in stroke, Parkinson’s disease, neuromuscular conditions, Tourette’s Syndrome, and various headache disorders. Our clinical services span both acute and outpatient care, supported by a specialized stroke unit, a dedicated movement disorders clinic, and advanced headache treatment programs. We maintain a strong interdisciplinary approach that brings together neurologists, nurses, therapists, and researchers to provide cohesive, patient-centred care. This collaboration is deeply integrated with ongoing research activities, ensuring that our clinical practice is continuously informed by the latest scientific evidence. Our work bridges the gap between hospital-based services and community care, aiming to promote long-term health outcomes and high-quality, accessible neurological care.

Research and teaching

With this new position the Department of Neurology, Copenhagen University Hospital – Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg wishes to strengthen the leadership in clinical research and teaching in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen.

Qualifications

Applicants must be board-certified specialist in Neurology.

Conditions

In order to be considered, the applicant must send an application to both the Faculty (the professorship) and to the hospital (the consultancy) cf. the simultaneously advertised position of the professorship. Appointment is conditioned by the fact that the applicant obtains both positions. This also applies to the applicants who are already employed as consultants at Copenhagen University Hospital – Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg.

Salary and conditions of employment as consultant are as agreed between the Danish Regions and the Danish Association of Medical Specialists and between the Capital Region/Region Zealand and University of Copenhagen.

As clinical professor at least 50 % of the working time will be allocated to academic tasks (e.g., research, teaching, evaluation tasks and communication with the public) in agreement with the Head of Department of Department of Clinical Medicine at the University of Copenhagen. The remaining time will be allocated for clinical work in agreement with the head of Neurology. Additional support and details on the working conditions must be negotiated with the head of the department of Neurology, Copenhagen University Hospital – Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg.
