FLC Marine is looking for a Project Engineer to contribute technical expertise and project management skills in the successful execution of marine construction activities, ensuring alignment with contractual, safety, and quality standards. About FLC:
At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.
We are also building the facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the “Tunnel village” in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.
About the department:
Earthworks at Sea is responsible for all marine activities related to Trench Works, Gravel Works and Rock Works.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Operational Planning and Execution
Develop and manage detailed operational plans to ensure the efficient execution of project tasks.
Align operational activities with the project’s contract, plans, and budget requirements.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, primarily within the Marine Works Department, to ensure cohesive and effective project execution.
Project Engineering
Organize and optimize the day-to-day operations of the Protection Layer Pontoon
Ensure that project activities are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards (QHSE-S).
Preparae detailed working sequences including resources, calculations and design criteria.
Technical Expertise
Leverage operational experience with crane pontoons, long range excavators and similar marine construction tools.
Preparation of Work Method Statements, CAD drawings, technical notes, etc..
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role within the marine construction and/or near/offshore industry
Understanding of marine operations, particularly in subsea or nearshore construction.
Excellent engineering skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Comprehensive knowledge of QHSE-S standards and their application in marine operations.
Effective communication skills, capable of managing various stakeholders and maintaining clear, concise reporting.

For the offshore activities in FLC Marine, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Technical Superintendent for the vessels which is going to be involved in operation in the foreshore between Denmark and Germany.
Who is FLC?
Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the Northern Europe’s biggest construction project resulting in the longest immersed tunnel in the world. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects. Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals, and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.
The role of Vessel Technical Superintendent entails the technical management of vessels deployed on our project. Candidates must possess solid experience in various duties related to technical vessel management in offshore/marine contracting or the oil & gas industry. The role involves interaction with flag and class authorities, overseeing planned maintenance systems (PMS), and managing dockings and repairs afloat.
Main responsibilities (but not limited to):
Manage the technical aspects of vessels deployed on the project.
Liaise with flag and class authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
Oversee planned maintenance systems (PMS) to ensure optimal vessel performance.
Coordinate dockings and repairs afloat to maintain vessel integrity and functionality.
Provide technical expertise and support to project teams as needed.
Qualifications / Experience:
Proven experience as a Technical Superintendent in offshore/marine contracting or the oil & gas industry.
Familiarity with flag and class requirements.
Proficiency in planned maintenance systems (PMS).
Experience with dockings and repairs afloat.
Preferred experience in heavy lift/lift-systems, dredging/winch systems, and mobilizations or conversions.
Knowledge of the maritime market in North-West Europe.

Additionally, candidates must be prepared to work full-time onshore in Denmark for the project duration.

To organise operations on the construction site and in the basins with the team according to WMS and/or lifting plans
To organise timely inspection of rigging and mooring cables, shackles, and related equipment
To organise site housekeeping, waste disposal, and storage of hazardous products
To attend the pre-task briefing, pre-start meeting, and toolbox talks, and to work according to the discussed method elements
To assist the Harbor & Basin Supervisor during operation, float-up, transfer, and set-down of the Floating Gate
To assist the Harbor & Basin Supervisor during transfer of standard elements, immersion pontoon, and special elements from upper basin to lower basin, and from lower basin to harbour, including mooring operations in both areas
To execute lifting operations at the Ballast Concrete Jetty and on the STE to prepare elements for transport and installation
To clean the site after task execution and to participate in debriefing
To issue daily reports
Qualifications:
Experienced in having a supervising role during the execution of marine and or infra projects
Experienced in executing site logistics, lifting operations, marine operations
Supervise the works of sub-contractors

Manage safety on site and report any incidents, near misses, or accidents.
Supervise safety on site for all your activities.
Supervise Safety and Quality Toolbox meetings and organize specific sessions when necessary.
Organize execution activities and resources (personnel and equipment) to meet project requirements.
Establish and monitor 6-month and 3-week look-ahead programmes in close coordination with the Project Control Team and the Basins Manager.
Participate in readiness reviews to ensure that all preconditions are fulfilled.
Conduct pre-task briefings before starting any new activity or task, and pre-start briefings (before each shift) to ensure workers are fully aware of construction methods, sequences, inherent risks, and mitigation measures.
Execute works in accordance with approved design documentation, work method statements, and inspection & test plans.
Raise awareness among personnel about risks related to their activities throughout the project by organizing pre-start meetings, QHSE talks, and behaviour-based safety sessions.
Ensure traceability of all controls, inspections, surveys, and lab testing. Raise a Non-Conformity Report (NCR) as soon as a non-conformity is identified and ensure that corrections are carried out efficiently. Liaise with the QC Team and Design & Engineering Team as appropriate.
Prepare equipment (winches, floating fenders, gangways, mooring) around basins for element transfers and all basin activities.
Inspect elements and marine outfitting before each operation (preparation for Go/No-Go).
Operate, float up, transfer, and set down the Floating Gate.
Transfer standard elements, immersion pontoons, and special elements from the upper basin to the lower basin and from the lower basin to the harbour, including mooring operations.
Execute preparation works for transport and immersion at the Ballast Concrete Jetty
Qualifications:
Experience in a leading role during the execution of marine and/or infrastructure projects.
Proven experience in planning, coordination, and communication within an execution team and larger project organization.
Ability to maintain an overview during execution in a work area with multiple simultaneous activities.
Broad interest in technology and marine operations.
Conditions:

About the department:
The Risk and Reporting Department at FLC plays a key role in supporting transparent , data driven reporting and risk decision making on a large infrastucture project. The department also generates accurate and timly reports tailored to the needs of the project and stakeholder/s enabling effective goverance and compliance. For the reporting officer vacancy, responsibilities encompass maintaining records producing insightful reports, supporting the risk process and facilitating proactive communications between all levels of the project. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data using Excel, Power BI and other advanced tools and a basic understanding of risk management
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Collects project data (progress, hours, key information etc)
Analyzes data for trends, variances and areas needing management focus
Creates and shares periodic project status reports, including dashboards and KPIs such that PMT members could see their trends and take actions

Maintains organized records of project activities and documents

About the department:
FLC HSWE Training Center is part of Health & Safety and QHSE department.
HSWE Training Center is planning and conducting more than 40 different Safety related trainings for employees on the production site.
Trainings are usually done in English by our own or external facilitators and translated to languages needed.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
After adequate internal training and mentoring translate different trainings for Polish workers and staff from English and/or Danish to Polish.
Example of trainings: Man Lift, Safety representatives, Hot work, Epoxy and Isocyanates, Rescue at height, First Aid, Manual Handling, Leadership training etc. Many trainings are both theoretical and practical on site and at suppliers’ facilities.
Coordinate and cooperate with trainers for AMU-courses and private suppliers of trainings.
Assist in translating teaching material, slides, tests etc. from English to Polish and/or Danish.
After adequate preparation, attending Training of Trainers program and knowledge development to possibly be able to facilitate relevant internal trainings e.g. Safety Culture Workshops & (A)live on Site.
Translate Toolbox talk supports from Eng/PL/Eng/DK
Join and assist in planning, facilitating & translating different activities and events on site
Occasionally conduct HS&WE inductions in English/Polish (+Emergency instruction), and register the inductions in Site Log system
Qualifications:
High level proficiency in English and Polish both written and spoken
Experience in translating trainings is preferred
Experience from Construction/Production industry is a great advantage, but not a demand
Driver’s license, this role requires the ability to travel independently

Assessing the appropriate Maintenance strategy to the (underlying) assets
Advising on the strategic take of Marine spare parts and stock
Coordinating the warehousing method of individual items as per their specific requirements
Analysing stock mutations
Reviewing administration in the FLC CMMS
Analysing trends in system performance
Training and guidance on CMMS users (offshore and onshore)
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Experience working in a technical marine maintenance environment.
A completed technical education at Bachelor level or equivalent qualification.
Knowledge of Marine Planned Maintenance systems such as Maximo, Star, etc. (experience with system implementation and set-up is a plus).
Excellent oral and written skills in English (Danish and Dutch are a plus).
Good analytical skills.
Self-motivating and friendly personality with the ability to work with multiple nationalities.
An organized and structured approach to work.
Willingness to travel.
