Railmonitor is a European railway technology company helping infrastructure managers improve turnout availability, increase safety and reduce maintenance costs through intelligent monitoring solutions.

We are looking for a technically strong railway professional with the curiosity and drive to grow into a commercial role and help expand our Turnout Monitoring business across Europe.

This is not a traditional sales role. You bring the railway expertise – we will support you with our sales process, product knowledge and commercial framework.

Your Mission

Your mission is to establish Railmonitor as one of Europe’s leading suppliers of Turnout Monitoring solutions.

You will drive new sales, develop strategic customer relationships and create long-term business opportunities with railway infrastructure managers, contractors, signalling organisations and turnout manufacturers across Europe.

Working closely with the CSO & CEO and our technical specialists, you will identify new market opportunities, initiate pilot projects, influence specifications and tenders, and convert opportunities into long-term commercial partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales

  • Drive new customer acquisition across Europe.
  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline.
  • Lead negotiations and close commercial agreements.
  • Achieve ambitious sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and tenders together with Railmonitor’s engineering team.

Business Development

  • Develop strategic partnerships with key railway stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and new applications.
  • Initiate pilot projects with infrastructure managers and strategic customers.
  • Support product strategy through customer and market feedback.
  • Represent Railmonitor at exhibitions, conferences and industry events.
  • Help shape Railmonitor’s long-term commercial growth strategy.

  • Switch & Crossing (S&C) Engineer
  • Turnout Engineer
  • Permanent Way Engineer
  • Signalling Engineer
  • Railway Asset Manager
  • Technical Sales Engineer
  • Business Development or Sales Manager within the railway sector
What will help you succeed
  • Strong technical understanding of turnouts (switches & crossings).
  • Experience with turnout maintenance, inspection or asset management.
  • Knowledge of condition monitoring, predictive maintenance or railway digitalisation.
  • An established network within the European railway industry is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent English; German is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.

Du kan komme med erfaring fra salg, business development eller en teknisk rolle tæt på jernbane, landmåling, infrastruktur eller digitale løsninger. Har du teknisk forståelse og lyst til at arbejde med kunder, kan vi lære dig vores salgsprocesser. Har du stærk salgserfaring, hjælper vi dig godt ind i jernbaneteknologien og vores løsninger.

Din rolle i salget

Som Sales Manager får du en central rolle i at udvikle relationer til kunder, samarbejdspartnere og agenter. Du kommer til at arbejde tæt sammen med vores CSO, marketing og tekniske team, så du både får faglig sparring og et stærkt indblik i vores løsninger.

Dine vigtigste arbejdsopgaver bliver blandt andet:

  • Opsøgende salg til infrastrukturejere, jernbaneentreprenører, rådgivere og operatører
  • Opbygning og vedligeholdelse af en stærk salgspipeline
  • Planlægning og gennemførelse af kundemøder, produktdemonstrationer og online præsentationer
  • Deltagelse i internationale messer og konferencer
  • Koordinering med salg, marketing og teknisk afdeling
Du vil trives i rollen, hvis du
  • er nysgerrig på teknologi, infrastruktur og digitale løsninger
  • er god til at skabe relationer og bygge tillid over tid
  • trives med opsøgende salg og har mod på at tage kontakt til nye kunder og samarbejdspartnere
  • arbejder struktureret og kan følge op på mange forskellige dialoger og muligheder
  • har lyst til at lære en specialiseret branche at kende og omsætte teknisk viden til kundeværdi
  • kan kommunikere klart på dansk og engelsk – tysk vil være en fordel

Det er en fordel, hvis du har erfaring med salg gennem agenter, offentlige udbud, CRM-systemer, eksport eller internationale kunder. Erfaring fra jernbane, landmåling, infrastruktur, rådgivning eller entreprenørbranchen er også relevant.

Du vil blive grundigt oplært i vores CRM-tilgang, salgsprocesser og løsninger.
