Welcome to the IT Security Department We are a Taastrup-based department dedicated to improving IT security and to protecting DSB's critical systems and infrastructure.

IT Security consists of nearly 20 specialists, organized into three teams

• Trusted Advisors – your new team: we support and advise teams throughout the organization and resolve complex IT security challenges. You will collaborate with experienced colleagues and contribute to the development of robust security solutions
• Governance, Risk & Compliance: Ensures that we comply with regulatory requirements and standards
• SOC & Pentest: Security Operations Center, which monitors, analyzes, and simulates attacks

What is the job about? As a senior IT security architect, you will be an important part of the work to develop and refine DSB's IT security architecture.

Your role and responsibilities as a trusted advisor cover

• Advising internal teams to embed IT security in solutions and guiding on best practices
• Designing and implementing robust security architectures with stakeholders and vendors to protect DSB's critical systems and ensure safe operations
• Ensuring systems comply with IT and cybersecurity standards, regulations, and legal requirements

A typical workday may start with getting an overview of today’s activities and checking in with your team lead over a nice cup of coffee.

Subsequently, your day might offer workshops with IT Operations on the implementation of security solutions or analyses of existing systems to ensure compliance and robustness.

Next up is meeting with a GRC colleague to document risks related to a recently introduced SaaS.

Before the day ends, you update your Jira tasks to make sure you know where to start out tomorrow morning.

• An academic background within IT and a particular focus on IT security

With great people in each domain, we’re now hiring a Principal IT Infrastructure Architect to own the end to end IT Infrastructure architecture and its roadmap.

Join IT Operations & Infrastructure (ITO) We are 90 internal colleagues in ITO, joined by external partners primarily from India and Denmark. We are responsible for all infrastructure components, operations of all IT platforms, and IT support in DSB.

You will be part of the ITO leadership team and partner up with Jens, Kjeld, Henning, Camilla, and Peter, each leading their respective departments in ITO.

IT at DSB consists of more than 400 employees. We all contribute to a more digital DSB.

In IT and with our suppliers, we communicate in English, whereas Danish is the primary language used across DSB’s core units.

What is the job about? You will set the overall direction for IT infrastructure at DSB and take responsibility for its architecture.

This is conducted in close cooperation with various IT and business units, including future trains, network, datacenter, end-user computing, applications, and AI.

The role includes professional leadership but not people management.

Day-to-day, you will

• Understand the current state and development opportunities of our cloud, datacenter, network infrastructure and all the devices on our network.
• Dive into DSB’s business and our driverless-train goals, turning them into clear IT and OT needs.
• Shape our IT infrastructure strategy within clear cybersecurity and regulatory guidelines, architect the target setup, and build roadmaps to get us there.
• Be part of IT Operations projects including the upcoming tender of IT Infrastructure Services.
• Team up with colleagues and partners to deliver fit-for-purpose results and coach teams in projects, to turn plans into real outcomes.

Who are you? We are looking for a colleague who can gather our IT Infrastructure architects into a functioning community.

A person who can create a coherent and overarching IT Infrastructure architecture, transforming strategies and targets into actionable roadmaps and execution plans.

You are motivated by working with a long-term focus, as we have massive and multi-year projects ahead of us.

• 10+ years of experience within IT infrastructure.

Hvad skal du lave? Dine ansvarsområder dækker

• Design og implementering af netværksinfrastruktur med fokus på SD-Access og SD-WAN.
• Sikring af netværkets robusthed og tilgængelighed i kritiske miljøer.
• Udarbejdelse af dokumentation, herunder HLD (High-Level Design) og LLD (Low-Level Design).
• Rådgivning om og implementering af sikkerhedsløsninger for at beskytte netværket mod trusler.
• Evaluering og implementering af nye teknologier og løsninger i samarbejde med leverandører og interne teams.

En typisk dag kan byde på møder med projektledere og systemejere for at diskutere igangværende og kommende projekter. Du arbejder måske på netværksdesign for nye lokationer, re-designer eksisterende installationer eller optimerer netværksstandarder sammen med leverandører.

En gang om ugen deltager du i netværksteamets møde, hvor vi taler om arkitekturdesign og tekniske løsninger. Vi mødes også ugentligt med vores kolleger fra Datacenter & Cloud Services for at sikre samarbejde og koordinering.

Vi forestiller os, at din erfaring omfatter

• 5-7 år som netværksarkitekt eller lignende rolle - med design og implementering af komplekse netværksarkitekturer, herunder segmentering, redundans og skalerbarhed.
• Kritisk infrastruktur (fx transport, energi eller sundhedssektoren) med høje krav til oppetid, sikkerhed, pålidelighed samt regulatoriske krav og compliance (fx ISO 27001, NIS2).
• Cisco-netværksløsninger, især inden for SD-Access eller SD-WAN.

Du har kendskab til et eller flere af følgende områder

• Netværkssikkerhed, fx implementering af Cisco ISE, firewalls, VPN og Zero Trust-arkitektur.
• Netværksautomatisering via værktøjer som Cisco DNA Center, Ansible eller Python-scripting.
• Fejlfinding og performanceoptimering i komplekse netværksmiljøer.

Du har sandsynligvis en videregående teknisk uddannelse.
