Operators

Key tasks:

Your job as an operator will involve tasks like setting, monitoring and controlling of machines and automated systems to ensure efficient production. You will be responsible for keeping workflows running safely, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining quality control, and logging production data.

 Your key responsibilities & duties will include:

·         Machine Setup: Preparing and calibrating equipment before starting production

·         Monitoring & Feeding: Loading raw materials into machines and continuously watching processes to prevent interruptions

·         Quality Checks: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet company standards and removing defective items

·         Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Performing routine inspections and fixing minor mechanical malfunctions

• Documentation: Logging production output, tracking malfunctions, and recording process variables

• Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace.

Skills:

• English - must be able to communicate in English 

• Role requires a multitude of skills, ranging from technical and mechanical expertise to strong problem solving abilities

• Safety-conscious and reliable

• Physically strong and good with your hands

• Attention to detail and precision in work

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

• Ability to work independently, effectively and as part of a team

• Driving license is an asset but not needed

Experience:

• Experience is good to have but that's not necessary

·         Operators’ education is good to have but that's not necessary

We are looking for Shipyard Workers:

• Sandblasters 

for marine industry in Denmark

Scan Con offers jobs at the Shipyards on Reparation and New Build Departments. 

Key tasks:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and potentially using chemical rinses

• Removing dirt, paint, rust, and another build-up

• Preparing surfaces for painting or other finishes

• Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment, ensuring safety and quality of work

• Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, or mechanical devices

• Inspect finished surfaces for smoothness, defects, and ensure the desired quality

• Perform general clean-up duties, including the workspace and equipment

Skills:

• English - must be able to communicate in English 

• Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety

• Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers

• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines

Experience:

• Experience from shipyards 

• Education or professional experience in a given position

• Diverse praktiske opgaver og støtte i produktionen

Vi forestiller os, at du

• Har erfaring med el-montage eller andre el-tekniske arbejdsopgaver, gerne fra en produktionsvirksomhed
• Har praktisk erfaring. En el-teknisk uddannelse er en fordel, men ikke et krav.
• Kan læse og arbejde efter simple tekniske eller elektriske tegninger, eller er villig til at lære det
• Er vant til at arbejde med elektrisk håndværktøj
• Har erfaring med epoxy eller er motiveret for at lære det (oplæring gives)
• Er fortrolig med brug af computer. Erfaring med Navision eller Business Central er en fordel, men ikke et krav
• Taler og læser dansk
• Er omhyggelig, stabil og trives med at arbejde tæt sammen med dine kolleger
