We are seeking a Compliance Engineer to strengthen and integrate defense compliance standards across our R&D, production, and supplier ecosystem. This role is not just about ensuring compliance; it’s about enabling fast, innovative development while keeping compliance and quality at the core.

Our technology combines UAVs with specialized RF payloads that enable precise spectrum monitoring, emitter detection, and RF validation to support calibration, testing, and operational readiness of EW, SATCOM, and radar systems for defense and commercial applications.

At Quadsat, we are used to working fast and agile, turning ideas into working technology through rapid iteration and close collaboration. As we expand deeper into the defense sector, we need a strong profile who can help us bridge our agile engineering culture with the structured, traceable requirements of defense programs - a sector itself in transition toward more adaptive and agile methodologies.

This role goes beyond governance. It’s about building the infrastructure, processes, and tools that make agility and compliance scalable - from early design through production. You will help integrate Design for X (DFX) thinking and drive a shift-left approach where manufacturability, testing, and compliance are built in from the start.

What You'll Do

  • Integrate DFX principles to ensure manufacturability, testability, and reliability from day one.
  • Align internal deliverables with defense customer requirements through traceability and structured documentation
  • Build and evolve PDM/PLM structures and digital systems to support configuration control, traceability, and documentation that make compliance and quality scalable.
  • Ensure traceability and requirement coverage across the product lifecycle through smart, lightweight structures.

Quality & Risk Leadership

  • Support risk management and quality assurance aligned with defense expectations and customer needs.
  • Use insights from testing and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement and learning loops across teams.
  • Strengthen the connection between design, production, and compliance to maintain defense-grade assurance in an agile setup.
  • Act as a mentor and compliance enabler, guiding teams to integrate compliance into their daily work.
  • Translate complex standards into clear, actionable practices that support innovation.
  • Foster a collaborative, low-hierarchy culture, where compliance and quality are shared responsibilities.
  • Support and train colleagues to increase capability and confidence, creating lasting internal know-how on quality and compliance by design.
What You Bring

We envision that you have an educational background in in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
In addition, you have:

  • Proven experience with MIL-STD, AQAP/ISO9001, or ITAR or similar frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of DFX and risk management (DFMEA, requirement coverage).
  • Experience building processes, tools, or digital systems for compliance and traceability.
  • Experience with PDM/PLM systems and their role in compliance and configuration management
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills; able to enable others across teams and disciplines.
  • A curious mindset that balances agility, structure, and defense-level quality.
  • Fluency in English, both orally and written.

All candidates must be eligible to obtain security clearance with the Danish Defense/NATO.
