South Asian Cuisine Chef – Indian & Pakistani Specialities

Big Bowl Valby is seeking a skilled and experienced chef specialising in South Asian cuisine, particularly Indian and Pakistani dishes, for a permanent, full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Indian, Pakistani and other South Asian dishes.

• Ensure consistent food quality, taste and presentation.

• Participate in menu development and recipe standardisation.

• Maintain food hygiene and comply with Danish food safety regulations.

• Manage ingredients efficiently and contribute to food-cost and waste control.

• Cooperate with the kitchen and restaurant team.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional experience as a chef specialising in South Asian cuisine.

• Strong knowledge of Indian and Pakistani cooking techniques, spices and ingredients.

• Ability to work independently in a professional kitchen.

• Reliable, flexible and able to work evenings and weekends.

• English communication skills are required. Danish is an advantage.

Employment Conditions

Employment: Permanent, full-time position

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: DKK 38,000 gross per month

Starting Date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
