Administrative assistant / student assistant for School of Painting and Pictorial Practices at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts 7 hours a week (time-limited)

The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Visual Arts is looking for an administrative assistant to The School of Painting and Pictorial Practices with effect as soon as possible. The position is fixed-term and will expire on 30 June 2027.

The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts
The visual arts schools are a higher education institution under the Ministry of Culture. There are 164 students at the institution divided into Bachelor (BFA) and Master's level (MFA). The Academy is located at Charlottenborg Castle on Kongens Nytorv.

The tasks
The tasks will include:

  • Help prepare and publish semester plan and course descriptions for the students
  • Support external teachers to prepare and obtain course descriptions and bio’s
  • Receive and introduce visiting external teachers to the school
  • Technical setup and support for lectures, workshops and events
  • External communication in connection with public events
  • Keep in touch with the Academy's Operations Department and IT, eg. at events
  • Secretary at department meetings
  • Organize and follow up payments of honorarium, travel- and hotel reservations
  • Keep track of school’s budget
  • Make status statements on material consumption
You will be part of the Academy’s administration and refer to the Director of Administration, but will receive the tasks from the school's professor.

You will have to collaborate with the school's professors, associate professors, management and other administrative staff members at the institution as well as collaborate with students.

Your qualifications
It is important that you have administrative flair, and we would like you to have knowledge of the Academy. You are service-minded and capable of dealing with many tasks at the same time. You need to be working independently, systematically and structured in a hectic environment that requires flexibility and friendliness. Both Danish and English skills in writing and speaking are required.

Terms of employment
The position is time-limited with an average working time of 7 hours per week. The work is or-ganized in agreement with the school's professor, and the working hours may vary as there will be more tasks in some weeks than in other. The position will be filled either as a student assis-tant, if you are a student, or as an administrative employee. Employment takes place in accord-ance with an agreement between the Ministry of Finance and HK.

Den ledige stilling er tilknyttet Institut for Arkitektur og Teknologi og ansættelse vil ske pr. 15. september 2026 eller snarest muligt herefter.

Om stillingen

Som studentermedhjælper vil du være en vigtig brik i planlægningen og udviklingen af de fælles aktiviteter på instituttet. Arbejdsopgaverne vil derfor være mangeartede fra booking af lokaler, mindre grafiske opgaver, SoMe, oprydning i køkkenområdet, diverse administrative ad hoc-opgaver samt praktisk hjælp på instituttet.

Arbejdet skal foretages i samarbejde med institutkoordinatoren.

Kvalifikationskrav

Du er i gang med en længere videregående uddannelse. Det vil være en fordel, at du er aktiv studerende på Det Kongelige Akademi – Arkitektur, Design, Konservering, men det er ikke et krav.

Du er stabil, arbejder struktureret og med et sikkert blik for detaljen. Som udadvendt menneske med godt humør har du naturligt flair for service og lyst til at bidrage til en velfungerende hverdag.

Derudover forventer vi, at du:

  • Kan formulere dig flydende på engelsk både på skrift og i tale
  • Er rutineret bruger af Excel, Word og Adobe pakken
Løn og ansættelsesforhold

Du bliver ansat som studentermedhjælper efter fællesoverenskomsten mellem Finansministeriet og Offentligt Ansattes Organisationer – Det Statslige Område (OAO-S-fællesoverenskomsten) og organisationsaftalen for kontorfunktionærer, laboranter og it-medarbejdere (HK).

Aflønning sker efter Ny Løn, hvor timelønnen udgør 144,98 i aktuelt lønniveau.

Stillingen er varig. Der er krav om, at du er aktiv studerende og indskrevet ved en højere læreanstalt under din ansættelse.

Vi forventer, at du kan arbejde fast 10 timer pr. uge fordelt over flere af ugens dage. Der er ingen fast ugentlig arbejdsdag. Arbejdstimernes placering aftales med nærmeste leder.
